Ma Cherie

This is a very bright cherry red with a super glossy finish. If you want a color that will make everyone notice your nails, this is it. As others mentioned, it's a jelly rather than a creme. I didn't mind since I already have a few red cremes in my collection and liked the uniqueness of this red. I only needed two coats and quite liked the coverage, though if you look closely, you can see through to the nail line. The formula was beautiful to work with and wore well.

If you’re purchasing Ma Chérie hoping for a “Red Creme” as the site describes, you will be disappointed. This shade is a mildly warm-toned, glassy red jelly with a formula that applies evenly. There is no hint of milky-ness or cloudiness as some other jelly nail polishes, this formula is more like a “true jelly” in that sense. It covered quite well in one coat, which surprised me. The swatch photo shows two coats, unfortunately I can’t remember how many coats I did for the full manicure. There is still visible nail line in three coats because again, it is a jelly. Unfortunately my camera doesn’t quite pick that up in the sunlight.

OMG!! This is the absolute BEST red ever!! I love, love, love it! I do think it’s more of a “crelly” than a cream nail polish. It’s more than a jelly and less than a cream, but I love it! It applied very nicely and the color is exactly what I was looking for!!
