ORLY x NASA Lacquer Bundle

This set is fantastic! My son is really into NASA and loved the bottles and colors. I love the topper that really looks like starts in the night sky (how did you do that?) and the polish is really high quality - goes on smoothly, dries quickly, lasts a long time. Fantastic set for people of all ages and genders. Thank you!!

Spirit of Peace over Perseverance went really well with Valley of Fire. There was a ton of micro gold glitter that made the red look very orange, in sun and indirect light. Golden Record and Perseverance with Spirit of Peace lasted six days before chipping, so they had great staying power.

I was very excited to get these polishes. I had only just heard about the collab with NASA and loved both the concept and the look of the polishes themselves. I tried them on and found while the polishes themselves are great I didn't find they worked well together, in particular the topper Spirit of Peace. The gold hex glitters get lost when put over Golden Record and I found the red-orange of Perseverance clashed with the topper as well. On view from L2, the topper overpowered the glitters and made View from L2 look basic. I love Spirit of Peace over other polishes I have where it isn't competing with the base.

Similarly I didnt like a mani that had the other 3 colors either, just too much competition.

If collections are just easy ways to get a group of polishes, this works each polish is individually really good. But if you are looking for a collection to work well and synergies with each other this one is a bit disappointing.
